'Archive I'
A meditation on light, shadow, and the passage of time, captured in fifty singular black-and-white images.
A photographic publication conceived as an open edition artist’s book, produced to museum standards and intended as a permanent archival object.
Each volume is hand-signed by the artist and embossed with a studio stamp, affirming its authenticity and provenance.
Presented in a 29 × 29 cm format, the book contains 50 black-and-white photographs, each reproduced at full-page scale. The images are printed on Silk-Matt Fuji Crystal Archive Lustre Paper (368 g/m²), selected for its exceptional tonal depth, subtle surface quality, and long-term archival stability.
The volume is bound in a custom-printed linen hard cover and housed in a museum-grade presentation box, designed to protect the work while emphasizing its status as a collectible art object rather than a conventional publication.
Accompanying each copy is an individual one-of-one fine art photographic print, created exclusively for this edition.
The print measures 28 × 28 cm and is produced on Canson Baryta Prestige II (340 g/m²) Gloss, a paper chosen for its rich blacks, luminous highlights, and refined baryta surface. Each print is signed by the artist and embossed with the studio stamp, existing as a unique work (1/1).
This image is not reproduced elsewhere and will not be reprinted in any other format.
While the book itself is produced as an open edition, the uniqueness of the accompanying print ensures that no two copies are identical, making each volume a singular collectible that combines an archival publication with an original photographic artwork.
This book is the first in a planned series, drawn from the artist’s forty-year archive, with future volumes continuing to explore the depth and breadth of his photographic vision.
Archive II will be published late 2026.
